Faculty will have an opportunity to meet the second candidate in the Dean of Students search at an open lunch meeting. The meeting will last from noon to 1:30 p.m. so that you can attend for however much time your teaching schedule permits. Your participation is critical to evaluating our candidates and to familiarizing the candidates with our community and culture.
6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.Student Pizza Dinner with Dean of Students Candidate Keefe Campus Center
Students will have an opportunity to meet the second candidate in the Dean of Students search at an open pizza dinner meeting. The meeting will last from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., so that you can attend for however much time your schedule permits. Students thinking about summer internships are encouraged to attend this information session with a representative from Overland Summers. Overland leaders are bright, dynamic and accomplished college students and recent graduates from America’s best colleges and universities. Overland leaders are motivated by the desire to have an impact on the lives of the students they lead, while enjoying the camaraderie of inspiring colleagues and the excitement of travel. Please attend the info session on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. in the Career Center. Diane Norman, the nurse practitioner in Health Services who works with students traveling internationally, will be giving a session with Janna Behrens, director of international experience, to interested students who will be studying, traveling or living abroad. We will discuss region-specific health issues, preventative care abroad, resources available to students and more. Have your health questions answered by a health professional and learn more about what resources are available to assist you as you plan your time abroad!

In this dark French thriller directed by Olivier Assayas, two corporations compete for illicit 3-D manga, sending spies to infiltrate each other's operations. The film will be shown with English subitles. Popcorn and soda will be served.
7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.Five College Geology Lecture Hosted by Amherst College Geology Department Earth Sciences & Natural History
Dr. Robert Anderson from the Department of Geological Sciences and the Institute of Arctic & Alpine Research at the University of Colorado at Boulder will deliver a Five College Geology Lecture Series talk titled "From Glacial Polish to Valley Relief: How Glacial Sliding and Rock Type Matter in Glacial Landscape Evolution." Refreshments will follow.
